I would like to welcome to our school website where you will find lots of information about our wonderful school. I am very proud to have been appointed Headteacher of St Theresa's Catholic Primary School from September 2023; this is a great honour after working at St Theresa's for the last 28 years. During that time I have seen our school go from strength to strength, consistently achieving high academic results, amazing sporting achievements and providing high quality support for children with additional needs. We were graded 'Good' by Ofsted in June 2022 and in our Section 48 RE Inspection in February 2023. Both inspections recognised the wonderful caring community that we have created here at St Theresa's:
'St Theresa’s Catholic Primary is a popular, welcoming and well-led school. Staff know pupils well. Pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), know that leaders want them to succeed and become respectful and active citizens. Pupils learn to understand the school’s Christian values of faith, hope and love. These are at the heart of everything that happens in school. These values help pupils to establish a strong sense of community.' (Ofsted, June 2022)
Staff are exemplary role models. They consistently bear witness to the school’s Catholic life and mission, and form excellent relationships with each other, the pupils they care for, and their families. Pupils’ care for one another and show great pride in their school and are happy to be part of ‘Team Theresa’s’. Pastoral care for pupils, particularly the most vulnerable, is excellent (Section 48 Inspection March 2023)
We are very proud of our staff, children, parents and governors and I hope that you will enjoy being part of our school community.
One of our lovely parents has created a virtual tour of the school and this can be found
here. Alternatively you can look at the individual sections of the tour on the Virtual Tour page.
We hope you enjoy our website and visit often!
I look forward to working with you all
