Section 48 Religious Education Inspection Reports

St Theresa's has been inspected under the new Section 48 Inspection Framework for the Catholic Schools' Inspectorate (CSI) in March 2023.  The school was judged as outstanding for Catholic Life and Mission and good for RE and Collective Worship.  This is an overall judgement for the school as GOOD. We are very pleased with the report and wish to thank all those who have worked so hard to achieve this result.  It is fair to say that this is a very rigorous process now and the report reflects this upping of the ante.

The report for this inspection can be found here and will go live after staff and Governors have seen it:

Previous S48 Inspection Reports:

The school was also inspected by the Diocese of Leeds under the previous Section 48 of the inspections frameworks and was judged outstanding overall as a Catholic School on two occasions; Feb 2012 and January 2017.  We are understandably very proud of these achievements.  The reports are included below:

You can also look at the school’s performance using the Schools’ Comparative Data site  which is available online:

https://www.compare-school-performance.service.gov.uk/

This will hopefully enable you to compare our school’s data with that of other schools locally. Data is only one aspect of school life though and although our data is strong and generally above National and in the top percentiles for progress this is not how we want our school to be judged solely.  We are very proud of all our young people’s achievements (no matter how great or small) not just their SATs scores… important though they are!  Judge us by the kind of people we are.
