Complaints Policy and Procedure
We would like to think that we can resolve most issues parents/carers have in school informally without the need for anyone to resort to making a formal complaint. Sadly, this isn't always the case in schools and as such we have a suite of complaints policies and procedures for handling these matters. Please click on the links below for the relevant documents:
There is also a policy to protect the school and its staff from unreasonable and unjustifiable complaints which can on occasion cause a lot of distress in school. This is a model policy taken from LCC suite of policies on handling unreasonable complaints in a school setting:

All of these policies were approved by the Board of Governors SIA committee in Jan 2018.
