Section 48 Inspection/ Canonical Review

Our school is inspected by the Diocese of Leeds as part of their inspection cycle.  Typically Catholic schools will inspected on a five-year cycle with a Canonical Review after 2-3 years since the last inspection.

St Theresa's has been inspected under the new Section 48 Inspection Framework for the Catholic Schools' Inspectorate (CSI) in March 2023.  The school was judged as outstanding for Catholic Life and Mission and good for RE and Collective Worship.  This is an overall judgement for the school as GOOD. We are very pleased with the report and wish to thank all those who have worked so hard to achieve this result.  It is fair to say that this is a very rigorous process now and the report reflects this upping of the ante.

St Theresa's has been inspected by the Diocese of Leeds under Section 48 of the inspections framework and was judged OUTSTANDING overall as a Catholic School on two previous occasions; Febuary 2012 and January 2017.  We are understandably very proud of these achievements.  The reports are included below:
