Tuesday, 21 April 2020:
Hi everyone,
Hope you’re doing OK in this unusual time and that your little cherubs are enjoying their time at home with you. Mrs Ruane, Mrs MIller and all the F2 staff and Mrs Ryan (and me too!) are missing you all terribly and they have all asked me to write to you specifically to say “Hi” and “We miss you all and love you all to bits.” “We hope you’re all being good for mummies and daddies and doing all you can to be a little superstar at home.”
Mrs Ruane, Mrs Miller and the staff are still putting things on Tapestry for you and that is the main point of this update is to encourage you to go on Tapestry every day and keep uploading what you’re doing as well as keeping in touch with what we’re doing too. There will, hopefully, be a nice surprise by the end of the week, so that is something to look forward too… maybe!! You’ll have to log on on Friday night to see.
In the meantime, we hope you’re all okay and well and keeping those precious bundles of love, safe and well too. Stay safe. Stay strong. Stay well… and stay in touch… through Tapestry! All will be well

As part of our ‘Understanding The World’ area of learning, we went on a mini bus trip around our local area. We ticked off the places we saw on our clip boards, it was lots of fun!
We had a great time on our Autumn walk exploring and seeing what changes happen at this time of year. We enjoyed looking at all the different colours and crunching in the crisp leaves! Afterwards, we had a yummy cup of hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows, delicious!!
Our family and friends were very proud to see us performing The First Nativity. We told the story of when Jesus was born and really gave the true meaning of Christmas to all.
We had lots of fun at our Christmas Party!
Our families and friends were invited to celebrate Chinese New Year with us. We ate tasty Chinese food, made lanterns, dragons, danced to Chinese dragon dance music and even tried using chopsticks – they were quite tricky!
We have been working so hard that we got all our class stickers and had a treat! We chose to make pizzas, they were very yummy!
